Almost done!

0 min read
As of tomorrow I'll officially be done with high school! On a less important note, I uploaded my AP Ceramics Concentration. It focuses on functional table wear pieces while exploring growth through the life cycle of a flower. The portfolio begins with  flower buds (salt and pepper shakers) and ends in death with a single flower petal (serving dish). In between you will find cups, bowls and plates. Also, the essential ingredient to all living things. Water. This is symbolized with a pitcher (watering can). Each piece was wheel thrown, hand carved and finished with various glazing techniques. I hope you enjoy!

Growing tired

0 min read
I'm really growing tired of taking pictures of flowers. (No, I don't get out much...at least with my camera.) What I really want is for some great buildings to pop out of nowhere in my back yard. How neat would that be? Oh, and lighting is always really important. I wan't perfect lighting all the time for whatever mood im capturing. =] I figure that's a fair request...har...har. Anyways, I just had an idea for my next project...I'll need a tripod, string, random objects and a wall. Oh, and a camera. ^-^ Hopefully it turns out how i want it to. As usual, I thank everyone for stopping by... I hope you enjoy my gallery and it's floweryness. -g

Merrrhg?

I didn't know what to title this. :-D Anyways, I can smell spring. Its just around the corner and I can hardly wait until it shows its pretty face. I'm so tired of the snow...and the lack of color. I'm also tired of not being able to go anywhere to get pictures...Who wants to go outside and get frost bite? Not this kid. In other news, I recently submitted a few photos as prints. If you see any in my gallery that aren't submitted as prints that you would like..let me know. I didn't submit Wall Doodle's as a print simply because I don't know if I can. I wasn't the one who made the brushes that were used, and I don't want to violate any terms

Heyyy looong time no talk. I just threw up some photos. I'm not spamming, I'd really just like to know what you think of them.
=] they look pretty good. haha its been forever since ive been on here. i dont check much anymore.
i really like your drawing on the wall :-)
why don't you put more of that on deviantart?
Haha, wait, you mean wall doodles? I'm not sure. probably because my brother hogs the computer with photoshop on it. So i never really get a chance to experiment with that kind of deal. *I just made an ass out ofmyself with that long comment. I thought you were talking about my sketch thinger. =]*
i actually have a drawing that i just finished...I just have to get a cord for my camera and put it up. Haha, i lost my usb cable. In all honesty though, out of every kind of art I do, sketching is probably one that I do fairly well with in comparison to everything else. At least in a technical sense I suppose. The real kicker is I go through phases where I'll draw something...and then won't want to draw again for six months. :P I'm really glad you liked it though!
